When firefighters arrive on scene, a Knox Cabinet allows immediate access to vital Haz-Mat data. Interior master keys, entry cards, floor plans, shut off valve locations, and evacuation procedures are also available in one safeplace when a Knox Cabinet is on site.
Federal legislation requires disclosure of all hazardous materials stored at industrial or commercial sites. Knox Cabinets meet SARA III requirements for SDSs (Safety Data Sheets), formerly known as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), pre-fire plans, building floor plans and evacuation procedures.
