KNOX SHIPPING POLICY

Knox is committed to getting your order to you as efficiently as possible while maintaining the quality and security of products. Please review the information below to understand how Knox's shipping process works.

Order Processing & Manufacturing

All Knox products are built to order to meet the specific requirements of each customer and jurisdiction. 

  • Standard processing time: 5–10 business days from receipt of order 
  • Orders are processed in the order they are received 
  • Processing and lead times are estimates and may vary based on production volume, material availability, or unique department requirements 

Please note that specialized or jurisdiction-specific requirements may result in additional processing time, regardless of the shipping method selected. 

Shipping Methods & Transit Times

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer. 


Standard Shipping (Ground): 

  • Ships after standard processing is complete 
  • Typical transit time: 3–5 business days 

Rush / Expedited Shipping: 

  • Available by selecting Express, 2 Day or Overnight shipping options at checkout 
  • All 2 Day or Overnight shipments are considered rush orders 
  • Typical rush orders ship within 48 hours 
  • Larger rush orders (5 or more products) may require additional build time 

Delivery Estimates & Delays

While Knox makes every reasonable effort to meet estimated shipping and delivery timelines, delivery dates are not guaranteed. 


Occasional delays may occur due to: 

  • High production demand 
  • Carrier delays 
  • Supply chain disruptions 

Lead times are subject to change without prior notice. 

Shipping Responsibility & Risk

  • Orders are shipped to the physical address provided at checkout 
  • Title to the product passes to the customer FOB our shipping dock once payment is received in full 
  • Knox is not responsible for delays once the order has shipped

KNOX RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Knox will honor returns or exchanges of Products and Equipment within ninety (90) days of the purchase date, provided the Products or Equipment have not been used, installed, or modified. Products that have been used, installed, or modified are not eligible for return or exchange. 

 

All Knox key boxes, vaults, and cabinets must be returned in their original shipping carton and with all original packaging materials. Returns that are not properly packaged may be subject to damage and denied refund. 

 

Prior to shipping any Product for return or exchange, a Return Authorization Number (RMA-KA#) is required. To obtain an authorization number, please contact Customer Service at:

  • 1-800-552-5669 (outside of Arizona)
  • 623-687-2300 (in Arizona). 

All approved returns or exchanges are subject to a restocking fee. Restocking charges are as follows: 

  • 25%   

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Knox is not responsible for Products that are lost or damaged in transit. Knox strongly recommends using a traceable shipping method and retaining proof of delivery. 

Inspection and Condition of Returns 

All returned Products are subject to inspection upon receipt. Knox reserves the right to deny a return if the product is returned damaged, incomplete, improperly packaged, or not in original condition.
