  • Who installs the products?
    KnoxBoxes can be installed by any trusted maintenance professional, handyman, or contractor. Click here to see product mounting instructions.
  • Where do I install my KnoxBox?

  • What is a Tamper Alert?
    The Knox Tamper Alert is installed inside either the KnoxBox 3200 or KnoxVault 4400 and connects to the alarm on your building. If anyone tampers with the box, the alarm will be activated. Click here for more information.
  • What is a dual lock for?
    Dual locks allow shared agency access so first responders can immediately gain access during emergencies. For example, fire departments, law enforcement, and emergency medical services may share access to properties in their local jurisdictions.
  • What is a multi-purpose switch?
    The multi-purpose switch is mounted inside the KnoxBox and can be used to unlock Maglocks, electrical doors, and gates that are controlled by low voltage circuits. Other electrical equipment can also be operated by this switch. Click here for more information.

  • What sizes are available?
